trailer sockets are great as you can't pull the plug out by accident.......
On the other hand if you trip over the cable you could pull it out of the plug!

but there would be nothing worse than crawling under a muddy wet landy to fix it (regularly) and just as you move the torch to light up the part that needs hammer time the lights go out!
Can you put a tee piece into the oil pressure switch mounting? I did that with an RR pressure guage.Found there's no place for the oil temp sender to go, so hopefully I can sort out a bung to weld onto the sump.

Rebuilt mine 3 yrs ago. disappeared in the front garden, was reborn in the back, with not a nut or bolt untouched over 10 months.
