not always as you can see from my post above re scaffolders etc, I drove a truck to nec for somebody and checked with the ministry because it was our exhibition stuff that I was transporting unloading and setting up it was ok, didnt need the cpc. What the hell difference it makes is beyond me, some of it is just making rules for rules sake IMHO.The only time you dont need a cpc is if its for personal use such as horse boxes vintage lorrys or motorracing transport the fact you say its for work implies you need a cpc
