That conduit is lovely where did you source that?I was worried about the Resistor producing heat, for the use I have given it so far its never got even warm. I did choose to mount it on the outside to be safe and then I have added a computer fan to the top to draw air out of the enclosure. This fan will be controlled by the VFD and programmed to kick in when the heatsink hits 85% of its max working temperature.
Modified the top plate to take the fan

there will be intake holes at the bottom protected by a filter.
And the thick foam you’ve used here? Is that EPDM foam?I was worried about the Resistor producing heat, for the use I have given it so far its never got even warm. Is it mild steel (I’ve got a rusting problem in the workshop) or stainless? Its 20mm steel Kopex I had spare from another project. I think it was a purchase off eBay its sold by the mitre there for about £4. It is nice stuff and the fittings are nice and secure.
Hi~ I have a same lathe in China, but many parts were missed, and its very hard to find any datum or part. If you have completely original drawing, could you please send me one. My Email:nismo999@foxmail.comJust an aside on the 600 Group. Very helpful spares sales department overly willing to help the little guys out. Prices are as expected for some items however I've been pleasantly surprised for the larger more important items. Reminds me very much of Car manufacturers pricing (LandRover in recent experiences) in that its always a surprise (either way) when you ask for a quote! I thought i'd add missing lever handles on to my order until i got the prices - £18 for one M10 push/pull knob so I found one with brass insert £1.80 delivered! anyhow excellent service. Also a surprise was their open policy on original drawing for obsolete items. If ever you need something its definitely worth calling them, if its obsolete they may have the drawing you can have (they emailed me them for free). Heres a couple of examples they sent me, quite nice to see and gives me some projects to attempt when i get it up and running...
