Fantastic job, that looks better than new
Thanks Norm, now looking forward to using it and get her really dirty
Fantastic job, that looks better than new
:
You've bypassed raising it and just launched it skywards. We'd need to be pole vaulters to even attempt to match this one. It truly is looking magnificent. That's a damned fine job you're making of it.
I guess the acid test is when I start it up, may look fine but does it work......
Why is it that any level, empty surface always ends up being used as either a makeshift bench else storage space?
Is your sight glass sealing okay now, btw? The one on the Meddings is doing the same trick yours did. Going to make a new one out of perspex, rather than using that flimsy plastic held in place by an aluminium ring, but think a bit of sealer might be in order too.
well worth the effort that nameplate is very art deco
I love the name plates, I was lucky mine didn't need touching. Funnily enough the M300 has a very similar type of background, and these were badly worn so tried to paint them. Made a rite dogs **** of them. So how did you do yours?
I thought about using a foam radiator roller.
I take you up on the offer of said reamer.
I like the neat solution for the electrical/electronic controls would it be worth looking round for an old Bakelite control knob (off a radio?) for the potentiometer, would be more in keeping with the style.
here's last weekends efforts. On the last picture you can see the beer tap on the wall, its empty so this weekend i shall mainly be brewing beer
cheers
