Their petrol backpack. I don't think they make them anymore. EB5300TH.
Too much force is what I'm thinking. The reason I never use the mid section on the backpack tubes is due to the amount of additional force it places on my shoulder. I assume a high power handheld would be asking a lot of shoulder strength too.

As a tree climber and rock climber (tho one that greatly suffers a lack of shoulder strength) theres absolutely no issue.
So I suggest its likely good for your shoulder, good excersise if you dont want to get old and frail!
Its a muscle group that gets very little every day use and easily neglected.
Dolmar made/make the petrol kit, I think they still do it but not under the Makita brand. It was good stuff!

Been after one of these for a while, I was hoping to bag the unused one from work during the factory move. But looks like somebody beat me to it, so I just went and bought one.
Sealey, Clarke and SGS all seem to sell the same thing with a different paint job, so I just went with the cheapest offer this week.
First job is replacing the bearings in the router. Followed by the ones in the compressor, the bench grinder, ...

Compared to the common Stihl BG86 blowers and the backpack BR600 or BR800 blowers, which I use all the time, this feels somewhere between the two. Great power!
The paper specs are slightly better than BG86 level, however the outlet is bigger, feels like its shifting more air with a lot more force.
It can be turned right down to barely spinning and may make a good summer ventilation fan for indoors! Could last all day like that.
I shall have zero further use for my mains or petrol leaf blowers..
Mate has just bought a parkside battery one from Lidl and is quite impressed by it's performance.
Might be tempted to buy one to use instead of the heavy stihl 2 stroke one I have.
Using it murders my knackered shoulders. You are swinging a heavy weight from side to side, having to hold it out from your body so your trousers don't block the air inlet.

If you are going to use it like that make sure the pump stays the way it is, the guy I got mine from had the pump the other way up and the air in the pump all went up into the valve and it wouldn't work. I know but we are always tempted to fiddle with these things aren't we!

Helped a friend advising how to clear the contents of a friend of his who has recently been widowed. I think the guy was a lot like most of us quite an eclectic mix of mechanics tools plumbing electrics etc she just wants it to go to good homes if she can the rest is going in a skip she already has definitely doesn't need the money. He restored motor bike for a hobby the son is having an immaculate 1974 RD350 and 1977 Z650 but just tons of unidentifiable bike bits everywhere. She didnt want me to go home empty handed so got me to pick a few items i wanted. Ive been in this position 3 times in the last 12months and always filled with a bit of guilt but also from what she said if it doesnt find a home its headed to the skip and im sure he would rather it go to someone who will use it rather than just sell it on. Makes me think I need to find a couple of people I know and trust who can help my family if and when this time comes , my wife has no idea or interest in my stuff and would be booking a skip before the funeral directors !

I'd rather that be the path my gear took. It's useless to us when we're gone, but it'd be nice to know it'll be getting appreciated & used after we are gone. We've already had our use & enjoyment from stuff when we buy it &, potentially, use it.

Mostly, the realisation that my recently acquired Holdridge radii-cutter will enable me to manufacture bespoke rollers for my CMZ bead swager, amongst a variety of other things that are not yet apparent.....

A couple of replacement backing plates for the multitool after burning through the original by sanding at anything above minimum speed. I should be celebrating really since I ordered them on 19 June and despite them showing as available at the time they only arrived today thanks to the appalling service from C J Sinclair's despite their expensive delivery fees. I really must use another supplier for my Milwaukee spares as they are a joke every time I've used them and by far the worst company I've dealt with.

That one covers most of the yank cranks mains and rod journals in one, save's having the 1"-2" and 2"-3". Anvils also look a tad bigger in diameter.
Starrett have their own version which makes mine at £25 seem like a bargain.
