Her turn. What does your spouse call it when she buys 14 pairs of shoes?
The Leica will hold their value better than Zeiss - in fact I'd say the leica backup is now better than Zeiss too if ever needed.I recall you saying a while ago - you also recommended the Nikon Prostaff several years ago and I bought a pair!

At the country store I was able to spend time with these three, with the window open and a clear view across to the hills. I'd probably have been happy with the Chinese made Zeiss Terra but the Portugal made Leica's are just sublime to hold and I saw no need to spend only slightly more on the 10x25's.
I’d forget, can you remind me somehow, not for another month,as all machines are topped up.@nickk please let me know how you get on with the cutting oil. The 5L of Silkolene I bought when Dalton & Co had a site in Belper are nearly gone!

Got these platform steps recently. Industrial rated, quite heavy for aluminium steps with a 70 inch platform height.
Van is still off the road so I had fun getting them into a VW golf.

They were a bit close to the windscreen!
But a bargain at £25!
I used to shoot with a guy who owned a big landscaping company, he liked Range Rovers and would buy a new one every couple of years. He normally had the back seats folded down and a tarp in the back so his men could shovel spoil, earth etc. over the bottom tailgate and use it as a mobile skip!.I really need to get a van. I keep using my car as a builders van and putting scratches everywhere!
I have a friend (gardener) who does similar with a Dacia duster...rear seats removed and the rear boarded.guy who owned a big landscaping company, he liked Range Rovers and would buy a new one every couple of years.
