Been after one of these for ages and one popped up at a local auction.

It's one of the generic xy cross slide vices. Seems to be well made, just missing one gib strip. Only paid £20 so well worth fixing up.

Got these platform steps recently. Industrial rated, quite heavy for aluminium steps with a 70 inch platform height.
Van is still off the road so I had fun getting them into a VW golf.

They were a bit close to the windscreen!

But a bargain at £25!

I used to shoot with a guy who owned a big landscaping company, he liked Range Rovers and would buy a new one every couple of years. He normally had the back seats folded down and a tarp in the back so his men could shovel spoil, earth etc. over the bottom tailgate and use it as a mobile skip!.

I was looking at small vans...but seems bit pointless. If I'm getting a van I want a proper one!!
