At the country store I was able to spend time with these three, with the window open and a clear view across to the hills. I'd probably have been happy with the Chinese made Zeiss Terra but the Portugal made Leica's are just sublime to hold and I saw no need to spend only slightly more on the 10x25's.

The Leica will hold their value better than Zeiss - in fact I'd say the leica backup is now better than Zeiss too if ever needed.

I have a Swarovski riflescope and a Leica rangefinder. The rangefinder is very very clear for such a small compact device. I almost bought some geovids a few months back. Those are very highly regarded binos.

Been after one of these for ages and one popped up at a local auction.

It's one of the generic xy cross slide vices. Seems to be well made, just missing one gib strip. Only paid £20 so well worth fixing up.

Got these platform steps recently. Industrial rated, quite heavy for aluminium steps with a 70 inch platform height.
Van is still off the road so I had fun getting them into a VW golf.

They were a bit close to the windscreen!

But a bargain at £25!

I used to shoot with a guy who owned a big landscaping company, he liked Range Rovers and would buy a new one every couple of years. He normally had the back seats folded down and a tarp in the back so his men could shovel spoil, earth etc. over the bottom tailgate and use it as a mobile skip!.
