Engine mounts on my little Punto .
But I'm been an idiot as I've seized a bolt using the impact.
I now have to try to remove it on tomorrow using the 3/4" and attempt to chase threads.
1 to 10 idiot I'd say 9 because I have the right size (M12x1.5) tap
1 to 10 probability to have success removing it, I'd say 2
I'm almost tempted to wedge some spacers in between the bolt head and the Mount and fix it in place by tacking it with the mig welder.
Cause I'm pretty confident I've seriously messed up this time

i havent fixed it yet.... i have diagnosed it.

the ac stopped working in my merc c220.

this is a disaster, i cant have a mercedes with no a/c.!!!

not at all to mention it is also commanding the cooling fans on to max at all times...

the ac pressure switch is showing short to ground. the pressure reading in the ecu is about 6500bar :shock:

the command inhibit list shows pressure too high (go figure) and just to double check, the coolant temp is about the same as the oil temp.

ill be needing one of these then....

and it vacced down and recharged.... bugger.

Is that sensor on the ac pump itself? If so I probably have one here let me know if its on the pump and ill take a look. I have several spare MB ac pumps sitting around

Had a Chiropractor appt on Thursday after work, but managed to get back onto the roof yesterday.
My back was giving me some jip, but I managed to get the end Weatherboard refitted, and cut, creosoted and fitted the Fascia Boards, AND the "Felt Trays" that @roofman brought to my attention.

So, apart from a bit of battening left at the ridge to do, I think it's ready to slate. Finally!

(I'd be on there today, but my back is in bits again. It's as bad today if not worse than it was when I hurt it a month ago. Really not happy today, I'd hoped to have been back to normal by now, but instead I'm no better off)

No on the condenser. Moot anyway as I already bought one from my merc dealer. Its currently cable tied to the pipe to make the ecm happy and take the fans out of always on mode.
