Will be a crying shame to see the thing scrapped. Original test certificates with the machine show it was seriously accurate when sold in 1968.
It's been looked after with fresh oil and not even a ding to the the bed. Running repairs have been carried out to a high standard as seen by the replacement worm wheel and new bellows on the cross beam.
Plus the grinding head slide has been scrapped 'properly' with english curls.
