Agreed. I may use it on my surface grinder for a similar purpose.Looks like something I'd use on a tool and cutters grinder

What's better than freeing up space?
Filling it back again
I'm now the proud owner of this 3/4" Gedore Rahsol Dremometer torque wrench in the 140-760Nm range View attachment 508161
Seriously I don't need something like that often but after having had to count every single Nm over the maximum torque on my half inch to get the remaining 30 needed to reach 240 and correctly torque the axles on my little Punto.
I wanted something capable of higher torques.
Said that it'll be much easier to torque something using this one than using my half inch.
As it has a longer lever.
Example 180Nm on the 1/2" will be around 30kg of applied force at the handle.
While on this something like 22kg.
And for someone skinny like me it's an huge difference
I can even do the math on the threads to find the angle neededTo do hub nuts I have a mark on my breaker bar and I know if I lean all my 80kg on the bar at that point it is the correct torque.
Just convert your weight to newtons and do some maths to get your distance.
I hope you've built the shelving in its final resting place. There will be a lot of swearing if you have to move it.View attachment 508185metal shelf assembled still have a lot to do but I'm done for today
It's final place as it's the only location that allows me to store things and park the toolbox in front of it without interfering with the benches or movements inside the small shop.I hope you've built the shelving in its final resting place. There will be a lot of swearing if you have to move it.
Is that food compatible? Some colour changing filament.
In theory it goes from blue to white at ~30°c just gotta find a use for it, seen some use it for electronic boxes as good overheating indicator/looks cool but otherwise no idea what to print!

Pretty much most hobby grade 3d printed things are not food safe unless you seal it.Is that food compatible?
Because otherwise it would have been great for cups or glasses.Pretty much most hobby grade 3d printed things are not food safe unless you seal it.
Top of the gangway to the metal skip was placed these two items.
Not for long.
3 hilti gx120 nail guns however after bidding I discovered the gc22 gas cartridge they use is basically discontinued and only option is the gc42 but without buying both (£50 for gc22 from Hilti only and £35 in ebay for gc42) I don't know if I can make the gc42 fit as a replacement as it looks the same just slightly longer so does anyone happen to have either cartridge that they could measure up for me?

And this Wohlhaupter UPA4 Universal Boring & Facing Head that nobody bid on but no idea how it works yet or what I need it for other than a cool piece of engineering unless someone wants it
