Assuming you're older than 40, you'll need a good pair of glasses to use that!A quick progress picture of the temporary re assemble this morning, I only put it back together to check that I had got all the taper gibs back correctly and that everything slides and or locks as it should.

The two main castings need some paint, I will mask off the asset numbers which I want to keep but that can wait until it is warmer there is no way I can get enough heat into them to get the wrinkle paint to work. The plan is to wait until summer and leave them out in the morning sun, paint them and leave in the afternoon sun to bake.
Lots of things to get on with, I would like to make some more slide stops, I need to make a plinth to allow the counterbalance for the knee to work. The plinth may as well have a motor mount and idle shaft and needs to allow the mill to be powered vertically as shown and as a horizontal mill. I probably should make a belt guard for the spindle, I have photos of others but this is another part missing or robbed from mine.
