2006 was the change to the newer 906 chassis, but you'd have to be newer than ~2016 to meet most LEZ requirements. Why pre '07? Surely newer is better with all the ulez hassle everywhere

I don’t drive in urban areas, plus my dislike of electronics and gadgets, the newer ones rusted, though looking at the couriers that visit in post’20 reg ,they seem reasonable. Why pre '07? Surely newer is better with all the ulez hassle everywhere
FINALLY reacquired (aka found) my 18V Fakita multi tool and sabre saw!
God knows why but I'd placed the pair of them in my dad's old British Gas issued briefcase toolbox.
Was mulling using it for work but kept putting it off so it just sat there. Had cause to move it today and it felt heavier than I remembered. Opened it up and there they were
So now I've two Fakita multi tools as I bought one to replace the lost one.
Well woe is me,I put a new battery in the Mitutoyo and nothing, The old battery was a bit corroded but it looks like it might have damaged the battery holder. The model is CD 12" Code number is 500-323 Can these be repaired or is it an ornament?Got this gifted yesterday, needs a battery (I hope)
Norm.
If the corrosion is confined to the battery terminals, then you're in with a good chance of getting it going again. If the corrosion has gone further, then the chances of a fix are maybe not so good. Have a good look with a strong magnifier or binocular microscope, to assess the damage. Brush out the loose stuff, then use a damp Q-tip or tissue to remove as much of any chemical deposits as possible. Allow to dry. Post a good quality picture of the battery compartment on here. We're a helpful bunch, as you know :-)Well woe is me,I put a new battery in the Mitutoyo and nothing, The old battery was a bit corroded but it looks like it might have damaged the battery holder. 24v split ac setup.
fit, charge, go with the ac.
this set will be going into the cab. a 2nd set may be purchased for the living, if i decided i like this set enough.took 2 months to get here, but was less than £200 so worth a shot.
I appreciate the first part of your process, but there’s no way I’m filling it with warm water,it’s 1200L.5 litres of SCREWFIX vehicle body wash power washed in three or four power washings from a high point and drained via the lowest . Then refill with a solution of warmed water & the rest of the body wash leave overnight drain an power wash with clean cold water once the cleaning fill has fully drainer.
if there is still a slight aroma of fuel not to worry it will stop mozzies breeding in the stored water.
When I'd finished using the tank as a pond water store I cut it along the middle after washing out again as above and sold both halves To a guy who managed to grow watercress in both halves.
will do, i ordered it from the recommendation of another member on here, so maybe they will chime inplease report back on the performance of this...been looking to get one myself after a youtuber i follow was sent one from a sponsor
If only it was metal could just set a fire underneath to heat itI appreciate the first part of your process, but there’s no way I’m filling it with warm water,it’s 1200L.

Phoned Mitutoyo, and a repair for vernier was around £220 if they had a spare for it, or around the £300 mark for part ex serviced used one.
I have a plan, It might come to fruition.
