They only have a 5 year service life.
The CO2 is 10 years.
And worrying now I think about it . . . I think the two in my garage are closing on 25 yrs . . .

It is not cost effective any more to do a Discharge Test and Refill.Thats not so bad, though they were scrapped. Though suspect itll be almost as cheaper too replace rather than service refill etc.
I do that as well.How strange. I picked some up yesterday. They were very old and decommissioned, I cut the tops off and use them for storing metal in.
