They were.I'm sure they were rectangular plain biscuits and really hard...
Why?
I'm with matt on this. They always look rubbish compared to a nice forged scroll with a tight centre and forged endWhy?
Its great….till it blocks up and overflows down the drive, into the porch! Hence why Im looking for a length of 600 pipe!I've always fancied having a culvert along the front of the house and like a little bridge you drive over with a bit of that big pipe under it. Sort of like a troll bridge...
Don't go to heavy with it or you'll be replastering as well!![]()
Great! Something else to worry about.![]()
Bit of a traditionalist,appreciate forgework.Why?
I've stopped using a steamer to strip wallpaper at home. It's an old stone house with some less than perfect plaster inside and every time I've used a steamer it has meant some repair work to the plaster!
I use some warm/hot water with a drop of lenor in it. Use a sponge to apply it, let it soak and peel/scrape it off. On washable paper you will remove the vinyl layer first by peeling it.
Once you get onto it it is nearly as quick as a steamer, less messy and no risk of removing plaster.
