The Meccano railway stuff is brilliant, though I confess I've got a fair bit tucked away myself though not all boxed in shiny condition etc.
myself and a mate who also has a good amount of track are going to have a get together at some point to run it all

A Norbar 330 torque wrench.
Well, I say "torque wrench". A fitter used it to undo a nut inside a machine . . . which required a length of tube to be slipped over the handle to give more leverage.
I spotted it in the scrap bin, a quick word later, and I now have an artistically curved to a 5 degree angle long handled ratchet for use with wheel nuts . . .
Words do somewhat fail me though . . .

After acquiring a new welder from @ajlelectronics I thought I'd better treat it to a new helmet. These are over £50 on amazon but found one on https://own4less.co.uk/ for £25 new with spare lenses.
Also got asked to call in at my old workplace and got given a bag of goodies which was an unexpected surprise, including this, which will be thoroughly tested for 'quality purposes'

A Book, from a Member on here, on how to make floaty boaty things out of sinky sinking stuff.
The Clarke Air Nail Gun I ordered turned up today (prepping for the forthcoming roof repair saga).
I've tested it with some of the biggest 90mm/3.5" nails - & it thumps them in all the way nicely. It's not as quick or as fancy as the Top-end kit, & of course needs a compressor & hose.... but I'm not a Tradey & this is a quarter of the price for a 1st Fix / Framing gun.

I also managed to score close to 100 slates for a few quid - I happened to mention I might need some, & I got "I've got a pile of 2" x 1" composite slates just gathering dust & on the way you're welcome to come collect"

suprising how accurate them plaggy calipers are . there good for measuring nuts and bolts and shafts that have krap all over them without ruining your expensive set or rough measuring on the lathe till near the final cut
