Replace the M6 Allen bolt with a good one, as the one supplied, the head is softer than butter on a summer day.

TEMU China or Ali Express price was about £ 23 a few months ago .. 30 day delivery timeA new extractor fan for the en-suite shower, should hopefully last a lot longer and do a better job than the previous one. Ordered from B&Q, delivered from the manufacturer for a lot cheaper than direct from the manufacturer

I needed to insert a vertical drain off collar & 19 mm dia drain off pipe ( Tool Station ) to stop condensate running back with cold air in uninsulated outlet pipes in the cold roof void It is handy to have a second one in hand as mine only last three to four years, Ensure the condensate drain or drains is the right way up and does not allow condensate to run back though the fan , The trap has a decent rubber sealing gland & thre drain off tube cab be solvent welded to extnder sleeves or an elbow if needed .

Got called out to wire a new compressor at one of regulars pallet yard.

Did the rightful thing and fetched my trailer lol.
Got it back,
Gave it a massive clean up
motors spin lovely
Only one belt on one side
Pressure switch looks shot so I’m hoping it’s the only thing wrong, if the pumps are shot then I’ll consider selling it on.
It’s a single phase setup currently and bites pumps low on oil.

Just got those for a restoration project
Wich I delayed to may because I've destroyed a component during disassemble
Ordered the new parts for the angle grinder on ebay for quick delivery but not quite right for my needs
I have to turn it down to reduce the diameter and flatten the rear and inner faces .
Everything because I've destroyed the pinion gear on the 1960 Metabo angle grinder.
I've later bought this one from AliExpress Wich at least has the correct diameter but still need machining flat to fit on the safety clutch mechanisms.
And you're probably thinking can't you fit just the pinion gear?
Wich is what I've destroyed.
And yes I could but practically the only ones which have the right dimensions or number of teeth have the wrong helical direction.
So unfortunately I have a ton of work to do.

I've got this little precision knife too
And the mandatory pullers set .
Every single guy who make restoration videos use this type of pullers.
Again something I've ordered earlier but never arrived home so after the little accident with the 75 years old Metabo I wanted to avoid to destroy other components.
I have pullers but none would fit, even using a guillotine type puller
I've had to buy other items for a total value of 0.01 euro for the free shipping so I've got this combination square for 10 euro
It's something I've been willing to buy for years but I've always kinda step back.

That could be handy. I think it’s a 12bar single phase setup, only runs one despite being 2 motor setup.

I have the same one essentially and it's a very powerful compressor. I restored mind. Thread covers it.
Take a look at what was wrong with mine - a blown gasket -
Tonight I wanted to do a quick test. To run each pump independent and see how long it took to fill the tank.
Right pump was 2.5 mins to fill tank from 50 to 100psi.
Left pump was dead! It was spinning OK but building zero pressure. Oh dear. I popped the head off it to see what was up:
It is clear a head gasket had blown there.
It is also great to see that when I wiped the bores they are clean and still have their factory cross hatching. So have little to no wear which is great news.

Due to some local political movements, we, plus 4 others groups who have/had local grant to rent storage units have been told we have to leave.
So, 2 "local groups" who want to raise money for the Gaza strip can move in.
This is what I found left in the empty units, well there was a lot more but it was 100% rubbish.

Our men's shed has been through a similar experience through no fault of our own.
We were homeless for a few weeks but now have got a unit at an enterprise centre for £90 a month with a good contract in place.
They are also under the process of buying more land to build more units and have suggested that they could build a unit just for us including a polytunnel and allotments!

Are you both still getting on well with the m12 soldering Iron? I have a Screwfix voucher to use up and thinking of getting one of those irons.
I think the fact it could be stood up and tap the wire and solder onto the tip would be handy. (Aka with a traditional soldering iron it wouldn't be steady like that, essentially acts like a helping hand)
