Trying Bold-MAX gloves. Wifie likes the grippy bits. Will get standard Bolt too, for more throw away, MAX are dearer. But nice glove.
I bet you find the multi tool very useful for doing the basic wood removal for finger & dove tail , joints . Now I'm 74 & have probs gripping chisel handles for long they are an absolute boon. I happened to see a box of crimp sleeve & the four jaw crimping tool for £16 IIRC a year ago in Lidl's so purchased it as I prefer to sleeve bare wire in plugs etc .. I've also discovered it will handle soft aluminium , thin copper or thin brass tube to 8mm and bullet connectors with easeA few deliveries today, a good condition used AMC 500 clutch and new pushrod:

I have one specific job I need a multi tool for, could not justify a big brand, so from screwfix:

I've been contemplating on weather I need one of these tools, but like you, I now have a job I could use one for. Thanks for the tip mentioning Screwfix, I'll check it out.A few deliveries today, ..........................................

Get a couple of sets of decent blades for it from Screwfix whilst your at it if you can . MY 240 volt multi saw tool was used to slit out grout below the plaster line then drill and break up one tile so I could use the swan neck blade to slip behind other tile and remove them with the least breakage . half a square metre on I was so pleased I'd got two full spare blade sets as the grout & tiles cement ate the gold abrasive cutters and the swan necks .I've been contemplating on weather I need one of these tools, but like you, I now have a job I could use one for. I have the corded parkside one, it's been reliable and good power but it is incredibly noisy, as in deafeningly so, I imagine the cordless one will be quieter.I don't know how good these are but lidl have a cordless 12v one inc battery and charger for £25
