Here yah go winchman it started as a Thwaites skip dumper and father wanted a forklift and as the tusker has great turning circle and the hydraulics it was the best way to go, also this one is electric start. Father picked up a Cameron Gardner tractor rear mounted forklift.
And I made up a frame copying the tusker digger frame so it can be removed easy if ever needed. It will lift more than we ever needed
I did make a weight box on the rear and filled it with 56lb weights off the top of my head there about 500lbs of weight in there which helps enormously
and if say I lift more than a ton and a half I stick some breeze blocks on the back box. Heaviest I have lifted is about 2 ton. Father’s happy with it best bit of kit on the plot.

Not today, but a few weeks ago, a kind young gentleman on this forum sent me some gifts
. In the box was another lovely leather hitty hammer, and a bag of sweeties.
Oh, and two little bunnies, but they escaped, leaving behind the red ribbon and bells from around their necks (Honest guv).
Last week, I was having a blether with one of my customers on the phone, when I mentioned I was attempting to learn to weld. He very kindly sent me a lovely pair of brand new tig welding gloves he had lying about his workshop. They even fit.
Also after a chat with a customer about air powered Colt .45 he had just bought, he sent me a spare bullet for me to check out. I get a lot of people buying holsters for these pellet firing guns. I’d alway wondered what they looked like in the flesh, so he popped one in the post for my perusal.
It’s good to have nice customers (and nice forum members).

Yes.
I often help my friend who owns a garage, with 3 x 4 post ramps.
Car on ramp, rear wheel lockers on (wedge shape wood.
Jack up the front, under the jacking points, wheels off, hub nuts off. Then what is required to allow the shafts to be removed.
Gear box jack under the box, box out, cutch out.
Reverse.
The most common issue people have is not putting the jacking beam in the right place, or not using the jack legs to assist in getting the height out.

Probably not to be recommended but I used to chock up our front wheel drive motors on the end of the ramp so the engine/gearbox was just clear, ratchet strap the back down as a good measure although not really needed and then lift them up. It gave clear working room around the mechanicals, better than the two poster I have now.

It's doable but far far easier on a 2 post. In fact there's very little I struggled to do on a 2 post in my stint as mechanic.

More a case of "today I decided to dig out". Tbh only then because I need to make space for this load of box section I scored.
This old planer has been in one half of my tumbledown stable since we bought the place (20 years ago). Came with the house so to speak. Might be my next project after the workmate.

My dad had those b&d bits and a bench grinder one too. I have the drill but nothing else. It’s strong as hell. Nothing like the modern crap

Today I acquired - a new printer.
Well it's not new but nearly new just reporting an error. Guy at work lost his rag with it and got a new one. I brought it home and found an air duster straw inside preventing the print head from parking properly.

I have the exact same one, its happy with cheap compatible cartridges but I use a genuine set every few changes
A3 printing is one sheet at a time but it will automatically print both sides A3 or A4

I'm not sure but I think I binned a load of B&D attachments, to go on a drill. Jig saw, circular saw, grinder. Seemed no call for them, none on eBay etc. Off chance I might still have them...
