Metric radius gauges I needed too and they are Draper made in west Germany.

there was a lovely wooden “Union” machinist wooden toolbox there but the lady wanted £80.

she said she let another wooden machinist toolbox go with all the tools in it for £80 Looking at the condition of these tools
I’d say they probably had a bargain.

Just been to inspect a Fog 3 ton 4 post lift.

It's not mine yet, but need to go back with a trailer.

50% deposit put down, so it will be mine soon.

I have seen them on tv it is some kind of game, they sort of run a bit and attempt to toss them into the next field, it seems to keeps the tourists happy for a while.

I also picked up 25 m of 4g6 SY câble, thé bloke practically gave away, i mean 8 quid ???

And this little 10w led lamp, it works, but thé batteries are dead.

Says clearly on it, batteries can't bé changed, boff to that, just dismantled it and ordered two new ones off eBay.

Can't bé changed, my bottom, just needs a little fettling.

Today I acquired - a new printer.

Well it's not new but nearly new just reporting an error. Guy at work lost his rag with it and got a new one. I brought it home and found an air duster straw inside preventing the print head from parking properly.



Mine for a couple of hours fault-finding - £300 new

Today.
Was good.
Easy few jobs, a nip into a charity shop and a dash to a friend, who has coffee.

Work gave me a box, charity shop gave me a few bits and a friend gave me some bits.

A old pan, will be used to heat caustic soda up and a coil. It may fit a dead engine I have got.

As you apply pressure the round items are turned forcing the joint tighter.


A Multi Meter, the charity shop could not sell it, as it is a un tested electrical item.

Today I pulled this lump out from its hiding place. No engine or gearbox but everything else there. Not sure what to do with it yet. Sell on for a quick profit (it was cheap), restore it or put a stupidly big engine in it. Only time will tell.
