I bought a chinese hydraulic hose crimper, Vevor 71500. Read up on them and they seem to have a good reputation and I have some air hoses I want to get crimped to start with. In the future I might be doing some AC work too and I think it'll come in handy for replacing some hard lines and hydraulic hoses on my ancient pressure washer with new ones.

It's been pretty pain free so far.
Plugged it in, turned it on, connected it to the wifi, it downloaded a few updates, and I signed in to MS.
All documents are where I need them courtesy of OneDrive, and MS365 is already installed.

Just need to download and install the various additional apps that I need on it.

Then I'll dismantle the old laptop and see if the broken hinge is repairable or not.

I am looking at the same brand for my house that needs a new consumer unit due to car lift fitment. Be interested in hearing your thoughts on that kit once installed etc

Really nice kit to work with imho. Was an SBS fan but they stopped trading. Mate recommended Fusebox. Loads of room and sturdy.

Not used their switchfuse before, always used Lewden. I'll be swapping the main switch for the Type S 100mA RCD. You can feed their 2P and 4P RCDs top or bottom:

Just because you have a car lift doesn't necessarily mean you need a new cu. You could split the tails via Henley blocks and fit a stand-alone cu for the lift.

I had dual consumer units before and they physically clash with a lift post. So ill fit one large consumer unit now to provide the required clearance
