Rotary threaded centre arrived, fits the mini 4 jaw quite nicely.
If you want the stumps out, the best option is to use another tree or stump as an anchor and winch them, that will get roots and all, ready for replanting something else.
There is no legal maximum for trees. They may have been her trees but what grows into your side is your responsibility to trim or have trimmed back to boundry.I told her they were too near our bungalows and also liable to be way above the legal height as garden dividers . The branches from her side which was four feet below my boundary were encroaching over 14 feet into my garden & were topping 30 feet high in places ,some of the trunk were 17 inches or more in diameter .
