Not quite today but managed to get time to sort the garage and find where to put it, I moved it again after taking the picture as I didn’t like it so close to my vice, was a complete freebie as my work got a new drill so they allowed me to take this home, it is three phase so will be putting in a VFD and gonna give it a once over to make sure the spindle and bearings are ok
can’t find any model number or manual online but it might be a AJAX PD25 looks the closest to what I have, either way a lot better then the old bench drill I had

Today I acquired yet another sore back after an hour on the tyre machine.
I removed the old darkside tyre (135r15) and fitted a slightly wider and taller one (Michelin ZX 155r16) in the suck it and see approach to finding out if there's enough clearance in the swingarm. The 135 was causing the engine to work too hard, but by 'eck it dirnarf shift.
Once my back recovers, I'll fit the blasted thing to the bike and find out for sure.

I'm totally with you - how much heating is this in your home: three quarters of January?
What about hot water and cooking?
Asking because I'm wondering how to manage in the future ....

At our home overseas I had over a hundred and fifty oak trees on the property, which allowed me to trim back enough wood to heat our home throughout the winters. Of course we didn't live in the very harshest climate, but it could be bitterly cold as well as scorching hot seasonally.

That amount of wood will last us about 7-10 days, we still have to use electricity for lighting/domestic appliances etc so cannot get around that, heating wise we still have an oil boiler central heating system but it gets very little use since installing the woodburner and also saves us around 750-1000 ltrs of oil over the cold periodCongrats!

That amount of stick out will allow a huge torque to be applied to your wrist. The wrist joint is not designed to resist torque in that direction.
I'd be VERY careful if I were you, if/when that wheel jams against a workpiece, things will happen VERY quickly. Also, there is the distinct possibility that when your wrist is being twisted off, you will be unable to release the trigger.
When that happened to me, I had a mains power tool and was able to pull out the plug. You should probably consider what your options may be under such circumstances.
Hope for the best, plan for the worst.

Geez...it's one of those things I guess. I took the guard off my grinder because I thought i knew best

I have never in all the 30+ years I’ve used a grinder needed to take the guard off. It annoys me when people do. I’m a daily user of grinders so that’s a lot of hours that have never needed no guard!Geez...it's one of those things I guess. I took the guard off my grinder because I thought i knew best
This looks a bit medieval and it is really. However, welding gloves and “send it” seems to be the order of the day! It’s rated at 25000rpm with is 50 more than the die grinder so spot on.
It is to get where I can’t get to weld prep some rotten lorry. I will post pics when I’ve time.
To be fair it’s working well. Just stopped for a brew. It is what it is and when no other tool will get in there……
Edit, sorry about the laughing thingy. I’ve fat thumbs. All better now^^

Me neither....but I bought myself a mini grinder specifically to cut a chassis rail and I was determined it would work so all common sense went out the window as "I knew best". As it was a "mini" grinder I figured what possible damage could it do.....it turned out it could do plenty of damage! Those "mini" discs cut fingers just as well as a big grinder as it turns out
