Thanks to the good folk on this forum I had a parcel arrive from Amazon USA, taken a few weeks but I wasn't in a rush
Knowing what was coming I was a bit taken aback by the size of the box
Inside was a much smaller box

today I acquired a new level of understanding of the legendary British humor when, while browsing current British news on YT, the scrolling text at the bottom of the screen said:
"Avoid dangerous murder suspect" who could be anywhere in the UK, Police warn
What? Really?? What am I supposed to do exactly now, please?

It doesn't have anything to do with Mr. Cleese on the screen, has it?

I’ve got thirteen 18v Makita tools and eight batteries, I had been waiting for makita to release a cordless heat gun for ages but with no sign of one coming out had to buy a Dewalt, three genuine 5.0ah batteries and a fast charger a couple of months ago….
if the makita is anything like the dewalt it’s brilliant for heat shrink connectors, (the only reason I bought mine), however it can’t be used like a normal heat gun as doesn’t really get hot enough for much else.

Nowt to do with welding but a USB stick lamp.
I got it for putting under the carriage of my plasma table to get a light source on the end of the torch to get an accurate XY zero if I need to.
Found loads of other uses for it so bought a couple more. They’re £2. Taped one into a USB extension as a auxiliary boroscope light source

I was after 12v ones but these are better as if anything goes wrong it’s only 5v rather than 12 or 240 which is what else I found.
