I’ve got thirteen 18v Makita tools and eight batteries, I had been waiting for makita to release a cordless heat gun for ages but with no sign of one coming out had to buy a Dewalt, three genuine 5.0ah batteries and a fast charger a couple of months ago….Is it any good dan? I heard it doesn’t get hot enough.

Nowt to do with welding but a USB stick lamp.
I got it for putting under the carriage of my plasma table to get a light source on the end of the torch to get an accurate XY zero if I need to.
Found loads of other uses for it so bought a couple more. They’re £2. Taped one into a USB extension as a auxiliary boroscope light source

I was after 12v ones but these are better as if anything goes wrong it’s only 5v rather than 12 or 240 which is what else I found.
