Still need to buy chinese ones of you want extended set upto 32mm though.
That because you were complaining about faulty goods or delivery from Spain
I am quite happy with it provided Im not paying extra delivery charges T
A seller I have used and recommended often, delivery is usually fast with good tracking. My ER40 set only goes from 4-3mm to 26-25mm - where did you find the other sizes?
Thanks a lot!

I tested positive yesterday...first time I've had Covid and I have to say I feel pretty rough today so just hoping day3 isn't worse than day2!Something I didn't want!
When will you find out if it’s a boy or a girl?
In the case of that result the farther the better.More worried which one of you lot is the father!

Nice to hear. I thought I'd read some good things about Newarc stuff and also about using them for gouging, but after I bought it I couldn't find a single comment about them and I wondered if I'd made it up in my head!Newarc is decent gear. Had a 250a mig for years, the tig/mma gear is used on site lot, @Jim Davey knows a bit about them.
) lovely smooth welder. Is there a reason for this splinter thread when there is one of exact same name, with a few extra or less ....

As my befuddled old dad used to say - i know what I meantI think you've posted that question in the wrong thread of the two, or have they been merged?

A friend brought scraper plates, from the Soviet BK6-OM alloy. Sharpening on 8 edges.
It will be interesting to compare with Sandvik plates and other manufacturers from Europe.

It is necessary to build a grinding machine with a diamond stone...They look good. So long as they are micrograin carbide they should hold an edge. You can use regular carbide but you have to sharpen it more often. I have in the past used carbide slip gauges for scraper tips.

I also need to sharpen tungsten electrodes. A separate grinder is seen as an urgent need. You can do something as simple as sticking a cheap 1500 grit diamond lapping disc onto a piece of ally or steel with double-sided tape and holding it in your 3-jaw chuck. Run the lathe at 400rpm and use it as your shapener.

Turns out that's bloody rotten too, really the glass needs taking out so I can be sure it's all cleaned out, then fill it with resin, refit the glass and reputty. Actually the glass needs replacing, the dick who painted the frames years ago scratched all round the edges with sandpaper.
I don't have time for that now so I just gouged it out as best I can, stuffed the rest of the second tube in and bought this third tube to finish it, what's the chance when this is all gone she remembers another patch of rot? (And what's the chance this window needs doing again properly in a few years because I haven't caught all the rot
).
It's not my money, but it's still frustrating.
