I remember I've already posted rats on here and thought was allowed, again sorry for that I wasn't aware it was against forum's rules, anyways it made a lot of damage and it was starting attacking us when we attempted to make it run away.

Id not worry to much about the rat..they spread disease, and are considered vermin most of the time.

I don't think it was the rat, more the method of it's demise. 
Keep in mind the UK has just launched ridiculous overzealous onlinecensorship safety legislation, so I imagine the admins/mods are understandably cautious on what content is being posted.
Personally I don't mind rat on a stick, but only with ketchup.

Progress of sorts albeit oh so slowly. More concrete cut tonight.
So now the digging. I'm am not looking forward to doing this trench by hand. I've calculated it at 20×.3×.75 = 4.5m³. That's just to get the duct and power to the garage. Probably double that to do the trench the full plot width to allow for future drains etc.
I REALLY need a digger. Keep mulling these Chinese ones...
