I use Motul EZ Lube as it get into connectors and leaves a decent film behind.
Dielectric grease is also OK but a pain if you have to go back in to de-pin a connector afterwards.
Some Chinese made wiring looms are shocking quality unfortunately and nothing will save them!.

Repaired a Murlo loom the one that runs under the boom.
Had a bit of a short somewhere and took the whole bundle. Trying to trace burnt copper wire's not good took all day, some burnt 1/2 mtr others through bulkheads.

Well, unless you know there's a rozzer usually parked up watching the junction for the wheels to stop . . .Over here "full stop" is what people hardly ever do at stop signs.
What always gets me in the USA, very rarely does stopping at the "STOP" line actually allow you a good view down the road to be able to pull out, or turn on a red light etc - always seem to have to roll forward to be able to see.

What always gets me in the USA, very rarely does stopping at the "STOP" line actually allow you a good view down the road to be able to pull out, or turn on a red light etc - always seem to have to roll forward to be able to see.
I think one of the main reasons for stop lines being painted where they are over here is to provide space for pedestrians to cross the road. I've been driving for 56 years, mostly in the US, so I'm used to making what you might call 'double stops' when turning; it just seems normal.

Discovery ball joints!! not the worst job in the world but cant think of anything worser at present! glad I bought the cheap chinese clamp/spliter thing and spacers as it was needed, might have put a wee bend in it if you look closely, hope its got enough left in it for the other side!
That quality of wiring isn't unique to the Chinese.
I had a truck body with failed lights due to corroded wiring after only 10 days on the road.
Worst part was the bodybuilder couldn't provide an accurate wiring diagram, as the electricians just wire them up as they see fit.
I'm amazed how quick it's corroded to the point of causing a none running issue to be honest.
I've done my fair share of wiring repairs over the years but Japanese made bikes seem to be made of a more corrosion resistant wiring loom, Tyco / Denso etc.
Suzuki had a problem on GSXR's with their fuse box and front lighting loom connectors but that wouldn't surface for a good 5 to 7 years.
6 months service out of a wiring loom is appalling to be honest but that's how it's going.

I do like terrifying UK colleagues on their first visit over here by stopping on red lights . . . and setting off again and turning right, or even left when allowed, (unless there's a sign stating otherwise of course)
