That's how the slides appear now the clearances are set. Hopefully should be okay when it eventually gets a run.
Switching over to the Minor for a moment, noticed something about that the other week which I've not noticed on any other machines I've looked at upto just. The hole in the bed inline with the one in the side of the vice bed, (there's an Allen bolt goes through that fifth hole on the top of the vice bed, screwing down into that hole). Is that for an extension/support arm for holding the piece being cut?
Lastly switching over to the Major, paint the pulley or not? Wasn't intending to, originally, but now I'm beginning to think it looks a bit, well, naff as is. Opinions?
