pc problem loading windows 10

which windows 7 are you using ?

as im using the full version ( ultimate ) and i can drop it into any amd system and it will install the drivers all by itself

have you dug into your device manager and checked there ?

what sort of error are you getting ?

But yes mine has never had a problem until now. since microsoft officially stopped support for it.

if not, go here, download it then install

check on update info first there is

telementry updates in there that take some getting rid of
an update to upgrade to windows 10 is also in those updates and yo can also get a nag screen that you dont want

as said there is a few updates that is not needed in there update packages

best to update all the way first, see if that fixes his problems.... can always remove unwanted stuff later....


there'll be thousands of updates to sort through if you want to pick and chose

why did it always work previously but not anymore,?

you cant say that not until you get all the drivers for your laptop from its makers

its also the same as did the laptop download its own drivers when needed and also did windows 7 update on its own ?

as theres many things involved with auto updates i turn auto update off and wait for 3 months before i update with new drivers it kinda gets the kinks out of the new updates as gives the supplier chance to pull a bad update off its servers

There is only one driver on acers driver page.

Laptop has not uploading any updates as far as I can tell.

I appreciate you wait. and I have never knowingly waited or not waited but every windows 7 install has always run cura. Cura is saying this and wont run.
searching about the error it says its distributable 2015 but it wont install that.......

Yes I can see that now. But that link you provided seems to say Cura can not run on windows 7 anyway.

Thats the version I run on my desktop at home. I seem to have found an issue with windows 7 that I would not have found (but would not have SP1 or any updates. But I only found the problems because another program would not run. lol

these no chance id pay the high price for it but 400 area depending on how it looks and what wear the mouse pad has

As much as I can. Plus my grandson can use it for games when he comes over.
Things like fusion 360 and video editing. Plus affinity photo and design.
Definately been used for gaming but for how long I don't know.
He has purchased a gaming desktop so probably not selling because its knackerd.

Done a bit more research and he's either from a rich family that does not care about the real value of things . Or its been nicked. (Or its a scam and he will offer to post)
