to old an system with no updates even win 10 is going that way but it was free so if it works for a while its a bounsSo's mine, does me fine and not noticeably slow.
got to keep with windows as software its easyer and the person using is not that good with windows let alone some other op system they have to learnSeriously. Download Linux Mint. Burn to DVD and boot it from that. No need to install it just to try.
If it suits install if not nothing lost. 20yrs with Linux. Would never go back to MS.
But it's down to personal choice.
