According to this earlier thread, some of the welders distributed by Nu-Tool were indeed made by Awelco in Italy, and sold under several different names, including Easycraft:
As I said in Post #58, that Easycraft 150 with 8 voltage steps would be a good machine for you.
Arrange to get access to it - borrow or buy it. Get some scrap metal, start with 2mm then 1mm, lay simple straight beads, post photos.
There is already plenty of advice about the sheet-metal and paint aspects of rusty car repair on this Forum. Look through the Metal Forming, Paint, and Projects sections.
The same goes for your other topics - just search on here for Pub Gas and Welding Helmets. Try an eBay search for Parkside True Colour.

Shroud and tip on nu-tool easycraft nw130 made by awelco in Italy, how should I remove them and with what, shroud will not unscrew is it left or righthand thread, It look little used, also where should I source replacements. Tip is 24mm long incl about 6mm thread shroud looks like all hobby torches.
Normally shrouds are held onto the end of the torch by being pushed over the outside a strong and tight spring. Rotating the shroud the "wrong" way will tend to unwind the coils of the spring and make it tighter, turning the right way ( clockwise i think ? ) will shrink the spring and then you can pull the shroud off.
Yes, the copper tips are normally screwed into the swan neck with a 6mm thread.
Note that if you use fluxcored gasless wire, you can remove the gas shroud to get a better view of the weld pool !

I hope to use it with pub gas if someone can tell me what to pay for a cylinder to start, what tool do i remove and how refit tip and do I leave wire protruding and slip tip over it, also where do I buy them from tip/shroud also how many at a time for occasional use.
Should the wire be removed from liner when not in use? If so should the wire roll be removed from machine? I have read some pub gas contains nitrogen what will be shown on bottle? would a oxy/acetylene regulators be any use co2.
You'd want a specific regulator for CO2. By the way, any particular reason you're set on CO2 rather than Argon mix which is normally recommended?
I will use occasionally as I have arc weld, welds will not be seen sealer and painted over and under sealed, also cost [OAP] rental/gas. What type of regulator, the welder which I have borrowed Is a nu-tool easycraft130 with small reg as supplied for disposable cylinder. Can you comment on the other two posts above. Thanks.
I don't know the protocol for pub gas cylinder acquisition. Maybe it starts with being a "regular" for 5 years, then slipping the Landlord a tenner....!
There are gas suppliers who cater to the hospitality industry - and maybe also helium for balloons. They will have their own rules and prices for cylinders.
Refilling "your" cylinder on demand may exist, or maybe it is now exchange-only ...?
Cylinders are usually dated, and must be "in date" to be used, refilled, or exchanged.
Yes, nitrogen gas in a pub cylinder is no good for welding.
No, an oxy-acet regulator is no use for CO2-MIGging.
Out-of-date CO2 fire extinguishers can be repurposed as sources of gas for MIG welding. Search on Google for "CO2 fire extinguisher for MIG welding" or "expired fire extinguishers".
The torch tip can be loosened or tightened by gripping it with a pair of pliers.
When feeding new wire it may go right through, but it can snag against the base of the copper tip, and so feeding is often done with the tip removed.
Some people remove the wire roll from their MIG welder if it is to be stored in a damp garage.
I wouldn't worry about needing spare tips and shrouds just yet. Shrouds can be scraped clean of spatter inside and re-used.

If you start with a CO2 regulator and later upgrade to an Argon-Mix cylinder, you can get an adapter for the regulator:

Do you think I will need flowmeter, When I see ads for second hand they have 4/5/8/10/20 spare tips some seem to burn out if wire jams this is why I asked about quantity to have and where/not to buy. Get a 'peashooter' gauge (whatever gas you use). A cheap way of checking / setting your regulator.
Available in many places for less than a tenner - for example:

Un-clip the wire feed clamp roller (to stop the wire feeding);
Hold the rubber bit of the peashooter over the end of the torch, with the peashooter pointing straight up;
Press the torch switch and adjust your regulator until the top of the ball hovers somewhere between 10 and 15 litres/minute;
Job done.
That is one way to proceed. Personally, if you are going to buy a new regulator, I would recommend getting one with a built-in flow meter. For example:

Ebay, the exact part depends on your model of welder and wire size. For example these suit mine.
My tip is total 24mm length about 6mm diameter at thread, 0.8mm. I have read very cheap tips burn out if wire jams, do the ones you use last longer?
On some second hand adverts people have tip dip,spatter spray,gel of some kind do I need any of these for good 1mm metal using co2?
