Yup, detailed up several machine tool foundations like that. Saw cut the concrete, dig down about 3'-4', fully isolate new pour
with resilient material on edges, and then lots' of concrete, rebar, and anchors.
However seeing how the OP doesn't own the facility, might squeak by with a large road plate (if you can find one big enough
to cover the whole machine in one go).

We don't have roads that big over here....

The concrete foundation is to add structural stability to the machine and be rigid enough to be able to coerce a machine better than it was made to ie pull and push off . For example scrape to 0002 then been coerce even closer
A road plate would be no use
As it’s London clay here keeping level is unlikely so job setting will need a microptic inclinometer zeroed to bed and travel each time

Crazy horse @Machinery restorations has been working at my shop on demolition duties. I told him there were a set of rusty chuck jaws behind the wall. He had it down in no time. Cruel but it worked

I had a enquiry within a day of putting my ad back up on lathes.co.uk
