We had some machines moved by PIC they had a 40T FLT which had a counterbalance that could be wound out to match the weight of the lift.

Yes my memory isn’t robust
Many a machine has been stripped to move it and ended up as scrap

The floor looks a bit of a state in there. Is it ok where you have put the machine?
Will it matter to the machines accuracy, you don't want it effected it every time a train goes by!!!

I would say a machine like that would need to be on a (large) slab isolated from the rest of the floor slab

Yup, detailed up several machine tool foundations like that. Saw cut the concrete, dig down about 3'-4', fully isolate new pour
with resilient material on edges, and then lots' of concrete, rebar, and anchors.
However seeing how the OP doesn't own the facility, might squeak by with a large road plate (if you can find one big enough
to cover the whole machine in one go).

I found just moving my small machines a stress, so goodness knows what it does to the blood pressure getting something like that landed. Well done
