Yes that’s what the Versalift doesWe had some machines moved by PIC they had a 40T FLT which had a counterbalance that could be wound out to match the weight of the lift.

Yup, detailed up several machine tool foundations like that. Saw cut the concrete, dig down about 3'-4', fully isolate new pourI would say a machine like that would need to be on a (large) slab isolated from the rest of the floor slab
