This thing is meant to be sunk in the concrete that's why the part facing upwards looks so poor...
Made out of 240mm HBEAMS from a demolished building.
Cut to 4 metees length with OXY Propane.
It took about 18 hours distributed in 3 days to complete it.
It's hard to believe how long it took, but then you remember that the forklift in not an exclusive, had to gouge, swap torches and tips, oxygen bottles, move repetitively the beams, rigging them for lifting etc.
Done by a person only it slows a lot the productivity

One of the jobs I do regularly uses plastic retaining screws with square heads... they can be a bit fiddly to install.
Got a fair few yo do next week, so decided it time I sorted out a driver for them.
Ignore the bad knurling, just a bit of gash bar from the lathe cabinet that happened to be about right size, plus a suitable material for me to broach a square hole into it.
Cheap £1 screwdriver with the tip cut off, and shaft threaded to take the brass bit.
Might try and make a better version another day with a groove cut into it at the corners, then an o ring around so that it will retain the plastic screw.

Busy, Busy this last week, been beavering away like Santa's little helper, these are going to be great because I have done them twice!
I wanted to use the CNC lathe to make these but I fabulously underestimated just how long it would take me to learn how to use it effectively, I am very close now but I will use the Christmas break to finalise my knowledge and gain the necessary to use it proficiently.

We're both into guns, welding and I'm sure other things too.
Might be possible
A front toolpost to complement the rear tool post I made a few days ago. These will stay on the cut off slide. I still need to make a couple more t nuts and find or make a more appropriate hold down bolt. The cut off slide is very quick acting and nice to use.

The redesigned one does. First ones I didn't know how much tolerance to design in as it was the first time printing in PETG so OD of tube is 48.3 so I rounded it up to 49. Worked on the horizontal okay but not on the flat.
New design just printed at 48.3mm on the inner curve and clips on damn well.
When they eventually fail will you print up a G clamp and another attached at 90 degree to it so you clamp the level to the vertical rather than press a springy clip on them ????
