Not wanting to sound too alarmist, but given you're manufacturing a safety device, are you at all concerned about the material traceability of the parts you're using?

I trust it will be provided with the disclaimer that it's ornamental and not to be used for climbing.

I used to get them from Screwfix when they sent me a voucher, which they haven't done for ages.
Fortunately I still have enough in my store.
