Usually buy Klagger, but when I asked them for a part, they said they don't supply parts as it wouldn't be economical!
So I thought I'd try this Venus Pro, for brake cleaner, it's brake cleaner friendly and 1.5 litre, and they supply a little bottle of silicone oil!
We'll see, it'll be obvious which has brake cleaner in it too.

bought a nice wolf polisher , comes on purpose built ali stand and with spare mops etc for the double ended shafts , happy days , only will get occasional use but like everything its there as and when making jobs easier. pics to follow when I unload if interested.

What is the baking soda used for in electrolysis?
Tbh, i've got a few of the farrier rasps that were given to me and they're quite handy for the more rough type wood butchery, hogging something down to size quickly etc, the 'smooth' side is again handy for the rougher end of metal bashing too.

Why you may ask. well here's a before pick of firewood filled IBC cages covered in a tarp
And after with a ball in the centre on top of the firewood under the tarp
The rain runs off, no pooling for midges/mossies and because the ball is soft, no tarp chaffing. Where I have a log stack around the back of the house, the wind has worn holes in the tarp where the timber touches.
Next, a kindling splitter thingy, not mounted yet, I have to get the mag drill out to drill a column in the barn. Specs for scale. Seems half decent quality, only use will tell.
Finally a thief deterrent for the Kawasaki mule, mainly for when out and about. its not going to stop anybody with an angle grinder, but means I can stop at our local for a quick pint/pie without looking out the pub window every couple of mins. Its also small enough to tuck behind the seat where the lap straps used to be, its now got proper retracting seat belts, all the lap strap did was make sure you head butted the dashboard.

I don't know about that pump bottle but that brake cleaner is not the best. My local parts factors have been stocking it and it's nowhere near as good as the old stuff they stocked.

These are great for hot rasping steel bar once they get too blunt for hoofwork.I thought that might be what they are for. Not really a lot of use to me as my Lab doesn't need that much work on his nailsI think I'll give them away to anyone who has a proper use for them.

A son with a Masters degree in engineering,( with a first). Incredibly proud as that little guy fought an uphill battle his whole school career. We moved back here when he was five. He had done foundation year in South Africa, which basically bridges the gap between nursery school and proper school. The odds were not in his favour, his birthday is at the end of August which had a major bearing on the school year he got put into here. You start school in SA a year later than here, so Dispite our complaints they put him into a year based on his age, not his schooling. So he was the dumb kid that couldn’t read…. Constantly played catchup. Then a curve ball in GCSE’s where his idiot English teacher predicted he would fail( he got the highest mark in his year!) but thanks to the exams board he supposedly got one point less than what was required for university entrance for maths. So , he took the decision, on his own, to redo his GCSEs . I was very annoyed with the exam board and paid for a remark, only to find out half way through the year that actually they “ forgot” to mark all the pages he submitted and actually he more than met all requirements. A lot of kids would have chucked the towel in facing such adversity, so all the more proud that he didn’t let the ******** grind him down !

I've known folk use a coarse screw before but these have the apparent advantage of being covered in a set silicone or rubber compound.
