That's exactly what I'll doAssuming it is 3 phase you could fit a vfd and that will give you variable speed and save a lot of belt changing.

I have been on the fence about getting a wee Femi one ever since I saw Kim’s but I wouldn’t use it enough to justify the price. Hopefully this one can do reasonable straightness as that will be much straighter than me alone!Need to get hold of one of those band saws…
