Bigger bore 200mm chuck for my small lathe, now looking for an adaterplate camlock D1-4 to camlock ?
Are the Ali ones ok? Or better wait for a secondhand one from a decent brand?
Needed for a specific returning job, very light machinig of aluminium and some rolling (deforming) which concerns me a bit.
I might need to roll from two opposite sides to reduce radial forces.
But its not freshly made. The stuff comes into Lidl pre made and frozen. They just put into a giant oven and bake it. Much the same as the Cuisine de France stuff.
The dough/pastry and ingredients are prepared off site and frozen. They could be months old!
Comparing this stuff to proper bakery goods is like comparing a microwave ready meal to a good takeaway!
Much like the food in Wetherspoons.

Acquired yesterday but only got round to checking it just now, a zero88 betapack 3 dimmer pack for £7, working fine and nothing burnt out plus appear to go for £120-150 on ebay so since nobody else wanted it at the auction don't mind if I do

Next time it will be seen will be a bank holiday weekend on an A road somewhere, travelling at 35mph with a long queue of angry motorists behind saying caravans should be banned from the roads!
