Yeah, was missing a fair bit of antifreeze, engine oil suggests it needs changing asap, no visual emissions at all from exhaust, engine runs sweet as a nut.

Total costs so far:

Purchase cost: €250
Transport home: €250
3 litres of ATF: TBC, and I'll rinse and replace with the correct, will check tomorrow.

Then next week, all the brakes, God, brakes, easier than changing a clutch though.

Just remembered, check the cubby box in the boot floor, they tend to fill up with water, I drilled a drain hole in mine.

The boot is pretty mouldy.

Advice noted.

Will investigate under the floor, not got that far.

Fingers crossed, I was bloody shocked when it moved, more so it went through all the gears correctly.

I'm not used to rare bargains.

It's a rare thing, maybe I'll buy a lotto ticket tomorrow, that won't work.

if you go for another ATF flush then try empty the converter into the empty sump by just running it for 5 seconds then switch off. Its basically a centrifugal fluid pump.

A.C. needs recharging, as that's not working, on start, all warning lights come on, and go off, pro body work shop bloke next door will respray bonnet for mates rates....

Ah, facelift model, nice...
Now you just need a v6 and a turbo, Rover 75 gearbox and an lpg kit.
