I have an ipod classic with a mini hard drive, they can be split open and a board fitted that accepts 2 sd cards instead

just done it via acronis true image 2020 ver 25700 using an old ps2 keyboard hard to do really prefer mouse myself

i presume may work on the ps2 mouse as well which i have an adapter for it to usb

for those that want to try it

laptop hard drives copied via a main pc do work that way

now while i have the laptop in pieces i can try a windows 7 install to the laptop

is acronis 2020 any better than 19. I cant delete a backup selection. In fact I cant do much at all.

not with using the ps2 keyboard (couldnt use the mouse at all) infact it was one of the worst id ever used even though it was free version that id gotten to use and try

trying to select with the keyboard arrow keys and enter button or whatever it was at the time was truly frustrating

i wasnt the only one with the problem either as i do check with a search many users had the same problem with hardware not working between mouse and keyboards that use usb sockets some systems wouldnt even recognise the ps2 controler

Not read a the posts or if you've fixed it but have you tried switching the file extension association back to photos ?

its acronis which means theres no operating system on your hard drive your installing from an image on another hard drive

the problem is acronis dosnt always recognise the usb keyboards or mouse that your using

if you dont have a ps2 mouse or keyboard it means you wouldnt be able to install the image as it dosnt recognise usb ports on there software

Not really sure what you are meaning. Are you meaning within Acronis programme in windows that you are unable to delete the backup schedule and the actual backup? If so then not had an issue with doing that in any version I have had from way back right up to the present one which is 2020. I did have 2021 installed but it switched me to a yearly subscription rather than a lifetime plan. With the lifetime plan you still had to pay for version upgrades but you could skip a year if wanted although I normally didn't but if they are going to force an upgrade every year I will just be sticking with 2020 until it doesn't suit my hardware/software.
