No its was not suspicios but it was not needed. You should be able to run windows ten as a local user or with a microsoft account! Was this person who warned you wearing a tinfoil hat ? I can't remember how long I have had a Microsoft account and nothing bad has ever happened as a result of it. Nobody is forced to use Microsoft Windows, I had Linux on my old laptop and used Chrome or Firefox but now use Opera.
yep ironically just running that DISm but only from admin not elevated. Microsoft photo is not on my computer any longer for some reason!Have you tried DISM in Powershell? Would need to be an elevated (admin) powershell due to the nature of the command, summat like
DISM /Get-ProvisionedAppxPackages
Do a help for the full syntax but you want to list whats installed, possibly remove the package if it’s there, reinstall or just provision if it’s not there.
Not sure about @ukracer but I recently made the switch as Fusion 360 was no longer going to support W7 due the MS not supporting it.The shop computer still runs 7, why did yours have to switch ?
yeah my reason was pretty much the same! Not sure about @ukracer but I recently made the switch as Fusion 360 was no longer going to support W7 due the MS not supporting it.
I could have stuck it out and seen how Fusion behaved after a few updates but I reckoned I would likely be best updating now whilst the free upgrade was still available.
BTW @ukracer , I don't have a MS account and have not had this issue so it has nothing to do with that.
well I found it and ran it and checked around a few strings but it does not seem to be working!Have you tried DISM in Powershell? Would need to be an elevated (admin) powershell due to the nature of the command, summat like

I've run it since the day it was released, never had a spot of trouble with it. I genuinely don't know how people end up having trouble with windows 10.
Switched 3 laptops and a desktop over in Jan. Other than finding settings everything has been smooth.I've run it since the day it was released, never had a spot of trouble with it. I genuinely don't know how people end up having trouble with windows 10.

Interestingly I was on 1909 version of windows 10 and it should be fine but others have had this.
