Which CUT50P.... aka which UK based eBay seller? Or suck it up and buy Stahlwerk...

Keep going round in circles! A few moments ago I nearly hit the button on a Stahlwerk CUT50 ST but then at PayPal time the almost 1:1 exchange rate made me realise that I'd be paying £300 for it.

So many to choose from on eBay and the sellers that say located in UK, many of them Leicestershire, seem to have Asian business addresses.

Could anyone recommend a UK based machine/seller with which they've had success..?

If only Paton in the Ukraine made a plasma cutter...

Does it need to be that capacity and do you need it to be new? I know of a second-hand one that might still be available, was an R-Tech P30C model IIRC. Can get the details for you if you like?

Did you unbox the plasma before you did that?

No images of that kind of playing allowed on a family site.

So, I've just finished cooking and eating and I return to the internet and this; the usual puerile misinterpretation of a simple comment.

It has become almost predictable, the same culprits.

I'm so glad I found this place as I feel so very much at home!

Not just them, I love the banter here - I fully expect have the mickey taken by one and all. Besides, when I met @Hood earlier in the year it went like this:

Well it was a bit longer if I am honest, you must have mentioned at least 50 places you had lived :D

I love accents, with working at the harbour you get people from all over the place, not just these islands but from Europe and even further afield. One couple came from Canada and were most impressed when I asked where about in Canada they came from, they said most people ask where about in the USA they came from :D

Oh and BTW it was kind of a lucky guess for me, well not so much of a guess but rather that I had just come back from Canada visiting relations so I had recently heard the Canadian accent from that area (Toronto) and that was where they were from. :D
