A3 sockets are a nightmare to find and this one wasn't quite long enough, so I chopped it in half and induction brazed an extension in.

The 3mm hex and the grooved shaft is an A3 drive, it fits a pneumatic torque screwdriver. One supplier told me A3 is actually an older standard and a half moon drive is more common now.

Mostly converting Triumph valve spring collars to suit Opel Manta valves and collets.
Using a gunsmiths hand vice to slice a bit off the collet faces to stop them abutting was a nifty sort of a dodge.
Never underestimate the utility of a wet diamond wheel on an RJH Ferret or similar.....

Turned out a pair of brass bleed adapters for my bike. These are to go into the brake line ports so that I can bleed and test the ABS pump without having to keep going through the rigmarole of bleeding the entire front and rear braking circuits.

Nipped down to the workshop to make a small housing for a switch, the housing is 28mm x 22mm and cap screws are M3.

Got it anodised.

And test fitted, happily it does fit

Now I just have to wait for the geared motor from China and then wire everything.

Finally got round to using my shaper for one of the jobs I bought it for 8 years ago, they need hardening next.
