Kram if you grind some HSS with a really steep top rake it will slice material off at 3x your current rate without stressing the motor.
Derlin/acetal. Nice machineable plastic.
Avoid nylon. It will do what you want but its like cutting dog ****.

Kind of what I'm doing now but when your mid cut/plane and it pops out all over a lounge it's a pitaPolyurethane as its flexible. But would be ****e the machine.
Thinking about it offer suggestions would be best just a little brittle
Would it be best to get a decent rubber coupler and adapt that then you can just wedge it in the orifices.
