I've been over it for a while now and only just got the request so just filled it out, most of the stuff that put me over is selling late grandfather's items which doesn't count on the limit as its items you're selling to profit off not old possessions that trips the tax limit

Thought... if you are claiming benefits the BA will try and adjust their payments according to what you get from sales/
I would also think whilst receiving benefits you have a permanent duty to tell them of any monies you get if you are receiving benefits even if it is within the allowances.
My daughter was speaking of such things last weekend , wondering is it going to be a hiding for nothing trying to do a home based business to lift her out of the benefits trap that a lot of PIP people find themselves in.

Mrs Robo had to retire early on medical grounds so was getting ESA & PIP, when her NHS pension started she has to inform DWP each time it increases and they reduce ESA accordingly, PIP is not affected.

Some of which is born of bitter experience trying to deal with a government department who resists all lines of communication.
The very occasional thing I flog on ebay I always send by royal mail /parcelforce , in seller preferences you can deselect the Evri option for instance, so they can't compel you to use them, I just left royal mail as the default on mine.
I'm even more unlikely to be flogging much on ebay these days as their conditions for private sellers aren't very 'friendly' now

Only relevant to sellers on a private account
You're better off just using the simple delivery, it gives you full coverage even if ebay sends it through say evri for the standard £20 insurance they take the hit and pay out fully vs you having to charge more to pay for a more insured service.

I think you can choose which carrier you use with simple delivery.
So, only select royal mail.
Then you'll have to download the lable to get the barcode number then you van at least book a collection from the royal mail website. During that booking process it might give you the option for them to bring the label with them? (They do if you book direct)
If the postman is turning up anyway you don't actually need to book a collection, they'll just take it anyway and the tracking shows up once it's been scanned.
So, you should only need to book one collection just to get the postie to turn up. Not sit there and book in every item.
