Makita XGT tyre inflator.
Seems decent enough but not a brushless motor. I had a good look at the other brands and none of them have a brushless without going up to larger tanked compressor type things.

Another ebay 20% off, ordered a dual XGT charger for £78. Most sellers have them for £120+

Next Im looking at xgt vacuum for cleaning car and a grinder for cutting stuff. I could go with the high power, high speed grinder. Or I could go with the 6" type that would let me cut thicker stuff. Same unit and power as the normal one apparently, just different guard.
The high power one is too fast for 6" discs, is the problem.

I hope it works but I doubt it. I have one that uses a car battery as a power source and it just about welds 18650 cells with 0.12 pure nickel strip.
Plated nickel strip welds better but doesn't conduct power as well.

£720 of car insurance Last year was £666 and the renewal £800 for no good reason. Managed to get a better quote elsewhere, adding roofrack declaration and adding a reasonable allowance of buisiness miles, to give me a bit more freedom to drive to sites.

So tomorrows job I need to buy a roofrack! Strange how it was cheaper with this addition.

However I loose the 3rd party ability to drive any other cars they dont tell you until after purchase. I've only needed it a few times in 19 years of driving but useful when you do.

an ebay special work bench...was going to make a bench to relocate my pillar drill, bench grinder and leave space for belt sander, possibly another vice...steel was going to run me around 70 quid, wooden top was going to be another 40-50...then i saw a bench the saem size on ebay, with a peg board, drawer and lower shelf for under £70...

as it wont see any 'action' other than housing the above mentioned tools and the drawer being filled with drill bits, grinding discs and probably my box of tig consumables it seems pointless spending the extra to make something not quite as useful
