a couple of those flame retardant fabric caps hoods or how should I call them.
Anyways gave those a go to attempt to use them as face seal on my Air Feed Esab Warrior.
Since out of production and apparently impossible to get.
I only need to open few holes to fit it on the helmet.
So I can finally use the air pump and keep dust and fumes out of my lungs.
I've decided to use airsoft lipo batteries to power it up because it works with 7.4V

5 of those cable/rope/hose organizers to keep my welding leads and extension cords tided up as I'm tired of using electrical wires to do that.
Those have a little carabineer so I may hang them somewhere.
Planning to get more of them cause I figured out I have a bunch of welding leads and extension cords.

It's been awhile since I was thinking about getting one, I've been wandering around building my little Air Carbon Arc Gouging set up, not even started yet but I might use it at my workplace or in onsite jobs too.
Useful tool I might say cause I seriously hate grinding.
And torch gouging even if it works perfectly comes with a lot of disadvantages like going through oxygen bottles like crazy.

Got this water sprayer gun from eBay.
I'll modify the vale and trigger lever to make my home/shop made thermic lance.
Unfortunately it's unlikely to use it on reverse as I'm enough sure the valve mechanism is identical to a blow gun.
This means it will open up by itself under oxygen pressure.
Otherwise it would have been a finished components .

the cheapest 6 inch, swivel base, bench vice i have ever seen...£28 from a uk seller...still dubious about whether it will turn up, but my little 4" needs repairing and cant be without a vice...if its any good the 4" can go on the anvil stand to be used for twisting and what not

so much for being dubious about it turning up...ordered at 4pm yesterday...its already here!

seems half decent too although no nut on the end of the lead screw to stop it coming all the way out...i will make a collar and cross pin it at some point

Job in the repair café needs silver soldering. A cheap ring, As usual, I've bought a new blowtorch from work (staff discount) a pair of self locking pliers, and a 5mg tube of silver solder paste. Never done it before. But my mate who works with me at RC is on holiday and he has. What can go wrong?!

You can easily go past the point where it starts to melt. I'm not sure how you will silver solder without damaging the ring, but I confess to having little experience with it.

If it's gold, It won't melt at the point the solder flows. But at the moment, it's an unknown metal. That's the fun bit!

paid less than £100. i have a horrible feeling im going to receive some very expensive breakfast serial, or its the best deal of the year!

plan maybe to make a mould of the original, then, if it all goes Pete Tong. I can just recast it. Haven't got it yet

Got a slight upgrade from the venerable Clarke drill I've had for 25 years,

Didn't realise the weight until working it up a slope with a crowbar, 1" at a time very slowly. Then getting it off the pallet was interesting

Any chance it is 1800 Nm? I'd love to hear your thoughts once you've put it to use. Also, appreciate that you didn't post a link, it's as if you knew I'd have trouble resisting the urge for more uggers to my dugger; however I've managed to sidestep your cunning plan, it's in the watchlist & I'm hanging on the review

The actual Makita that's based on is 700nm / 1000nm nutbusting. I heavily doubt 1800....
