That thought had crossed my mind. I've already told her to have the vehicle battery checked, as a precaution. This is the first time it's happened to her, so possible she left lights on or such.
I recently ordered a couple of things to try out in My Campervan (just in time for there to be no fuel to put in it, or fuel that costs a vital organ).....
1. A 12v TV with an inexpensive dome-type amplified aerial off the Bay - advertised more (& rather cheaper than m-home stuff) for homes with poor digital signal. (I'd checked the inline F-type fitting PSU fed the aerial 12v... but on opening the packet found the PSU was a moulded sealed Mains Plug - but I found a 12v in alternative.
That's fitted, tested and actually seems to work well on Freeview digital channels (though yet to try it somewhere truly backwoods / forest / mountain remote).
F-Type connectors, 75 ohm resistance.
2. An (as yet unfitted / untried) similar 12v system - to boost/amplify Mobile Phone signal in the camper. Googling showed that my Provider O2/Tesco uses 800 & 900MHZ for rural transmission (2G, 3G, 4G) so got the kit for those frequencies.
(There's lots of more expensive systems that require a SIM & contract & that boost & create a Wi-Fi network, but I thought to try a more basic option).
Basically it's a roof omnidirectional aerial for 800/900MHZ, that feeds to an amplifier with signal strength display, onto an internal aerial - so the idea is you get a stronger signal that bypasses the Faraday Cage of the van body to provide mobile phone coverage in the Boonies.
(Again the PSU is a mains one, but 5v, via a small jack plug to feed the Amplifier - so a cheap USB to Jack Plug lead is on the way to get around that).
Will it work? Not the first clue tbh - but it's not costing a lot to find out - & if it does I'll be happy enough - and I'll have learned something.

Im not sure this was a good idea, but i ordered one of these, to replace my current setup (Yamaha DBR10 speaker, Yamaha mixer, Bluetooth adaptor). The main reason was i didnt want to destroy my daughter drum monitor speaker with grinding dust and general garage filth.
