Just in time for winter

This is how Terminator started. It will be sat there over winter, in the garage twiddling its little robot thumbs, planning to take over the world. Judgement Day is coming and there is not a damn thing you can do about it unless you're wearing 2 million sunblock.

Have wanted a flag pole for many years, it's not a reaction to 'Raising the Colours' although it is a wonderful thing.
Since coming back from the USA in 2010, I've always thought we should do more, flag flying.
Got the offer of this fella, 7 meters tall/long so it's been cut to a more reasonable approx. 4.5 meters for planning.
Need the ground plate worked on and a new finial (top bit), will be internal roped with turning finial and weight on the bottom of the flag, that stops the flag wrapping round the pole.
The carrier does look a bit ropey, but all straps had been removed for the photo. It was really solid, scary it almost made the end of the bonnet, but solid.

Unfortunately people will still probably assume you're doing it for that far right campaign so perhaps worth putting multiple flags to show support for other things that counter it?

He'll need to be careful as to the order of the flags too.

I would never be so proud to fly a flag from my home ..too many nutters willing to take offence at it and chuck bricks , bottle , petrol bombs and bullets in my direction.
We even had caustic comment when I put a spread you can trust in ca 2010 , vote for marmite board in the front garden as a piste take . local numpties declared it was voting for Labour in a Plaid area.

Discretion is the better part of valour , comes to mind
