The Travel Power systems were rarely used in the few vans we maintained. So it’s possible that the low 135,000 mileage could be meaningless on low engine wear if it’s sat at high idle speeds day after day,for years?
It is an expensive 150bar washer, able to handle up to 65 oC input , has a brass element pump too IIRCIf you do that you will seriously shorten the life of the pump seals, valves and o rings.
Most of them can only handle luke warm water at most.
There are pumps designed to run on hot water but they are rare and expensive!
Doesn't matter what it is.It is an expensive 150bar washer, able to handle up to 65 oC input , has a brass element pump too IIRC
I second this. I used to work for a company that made bubble wrap and there were process pumps that ran water at 125c and pressure to suit. They used to look like they had had acid going through them, life was in months.Doesn't matter what it is.
Using water that hot will severely shorten the service intervals of the pump.
I used to work for Karcher. Customers tried what you were doing. All of them switched to proper steam washers that heat the water after the pump when the pump service costs started getting silly.
I worked for a firm that rented out small vehicle mounted cherry pickers. Most of the vehicles had less than 180,000 miles showing on the speedo when sold, but they had been driven 1 hour maybe 1.5 hours to a job and then sat at high idle for 6 to 7 hours. So it’s possible that the low 135,000 mileage could be meaningless on low engine wear if it’s sat at high idle speeds day after day,for years?
Looks good to me, hopefully is good as the 3/4" impact.Today I acquired a bit more Fakita gear to throw in the truck. The work lamps are surprisingly good, nicely weighted/stable with the batteries installed, grinder has plenty of grunt.

Those are something I'd like to get, may I get a link?
I need them I seriously need them, I'm tired of the plastic box the socket set came with, I'm always struggling opening the box and find them all over the placeAlso acquired some rather nice 3/4” socket rails, never knew such a thing existed, much better than the rubbish tins or plastic boxes they come in.

About 4 or 5 cubic foot of 5/8" quarter sawn oak boards.
I picked them up from the Quarter Sawn Oak company in Edale, Derbyshire yesterday.

They showed me around the barn where they process the timber from some quite large oak trunks, probably 7 feet across, into smaller chunks, then onto a bandsaw for quartering.
Previously I bought the timber from them planed to size, but now I have a decent planer thicknesser, I can buy waney edge boards and machine them to whatever size I need. You only get charged for clear timber, any bits with big knots, shakes or worm are excluded.
Some nice figuring in the first board I've looked at in detail, that's before the PT does its magic.
