Maybe it was magnetic at one point, not now though. Could be a cobblers hammer too, but I think upholstery is a good guess. No makers marks on it.

I've just paid 10 euro for those 2 I feel guilty and dirty but I couldn't take the bargain
The Albrecht chuck is nothing special well worth at least twice of the price paid (maybe a porta or rohm) but the tap holder chuck for a power tapper is just like stealing
Being such pretty niche component of a pretty niche tool and most likely being Fein the thing is over 200 euro price tag and it's apparently brand new too
I've never felt so dirty for buying something.

Parts to fix the boiler, was very handy having all of them in the one bag when they are only slightly different like 18/19/22/22.8mm making it rather confusing to work out what went where!

I had a pet hen as a kid. There is a photo somewhere of me with the hen and a piece of baler twine around its leg as a leash.

Today I went on a jolly to Banbury to collect a set of trailer sides for the ifor.w I acquired last weekend. The head and tail are 1’ too short,the head will be chopped about to become a tall slot on head for long and high conveyances and the tail will get extended.
I’m sure they’ll be featured on this forum later…maybe in a month or 10.

Honestly I've got the thing just to understand the indexing part of it, I'm pretty sure I'll faster by hand too
As we don't have a sharpener at work we use a bench grinder for everything

The last one I had.....brand new from Machine Mart ...... I made a steel right angle bracket, so.. I could mount it at the right height to the right of the RH tool rest. Using 6mm coach bolts & extended wing nuts . It was not consistently held at 180 degrees when trying to make the second cut and was useless for 4mm or less diameters .
