Yep, did something similar aged 18 ish. The ratchets broke early on, but they weren't actually Kamasa. I bought a new Kamasa ratchet from elsewhere, which is still going strong.I bought a Kamasa socket set from a market stall about 40 years ago and I'm still using it, and I can't remember ever breaking any of it. And a lot of the time it was in use every day earning my living.
I've worn a couple of sockets badly, split one that I had turned down to fit the Lancia crank bolt recess, and another trying to undo the stat housing on a Metro. Not bad for the cost I reckon.
